The epSOS project team aimed to design, build and evaluate a service infrastructure that demonstrates cross-border interoperability between electronic health record systems in Europe. For the first time, patients in Europe have the opportunity to use cross-border e-health services when seeking healthcare as tourists, business travelers, commuters or exchange students.

Partnership agreement with EU-Supply, a leading e-tendering solution provider in Europe. Complete Tender Management (CTM) is a comprehensive tool that allows tenders to be created, distributed and evaluated without the need to create and manage paper documents. Gnomon, by using CTM, makes the tendering process easier for buyers and suppliers in Greece since 2010.
epSOS NCP development
GNOMON together with other 4 innovative EU SMEs starts developing the NCP in a Box project, by defining and setting up the necessary infrastructure based on National Contact Points (NCP) which exchange patient information with other countries.
Awarded contract from IDIKA for the studying and proposing an interoperability mechanism for the ePrescription in Greece. We presented the design of an Enterprise Information Bus based upon the reuse of IHE and epSOS specification. This was the first large scale use of HL7 CDA specification in Greece.

10 out of 12 Member States of the epSOS team met in Pisa of Italy in order to test cross-border patient data exchange, under the epSOS project. Greece was there too, represented by GNOMON.
After presenting the design of an Enterprise Information Bus in 2011, Gnomon awarded a new contract to implement the Enterprise Information Bus for ePrescription in Greece. It was installed in pre-existing infrastructure at IDIKA in order to first serve interoperability between the central system and 3rd party software from the Community Pharmacy software providers.

Cross Boarder e-health for Malta
Contract with Malta Information Technology Agency-MITA for the provision of cross border e-health services according to a European directive (24/11/EC). Under this contract we created the National Contact Point for Malta, which exchange patient information with other countries according to epSOS requirements.

Monitoring and paging services, devices like panic buttons, location tracking devices, blood pressure and weight scales contribute in preventing critical life threatening events. Under contracts with municipalities of Pilea-Hortiatis, Metamorfosis, Serres and Skydra, Gnomon created a healthcare solution that empowers elderly to have an independent life.
Decipher Phase I award
A pre-commercial public procurement (PCP) named Decipher PCP aimed the development of a mobile solution that will enable secure cross-border access to existing patient healthcare portals. Gnomon is one of the 9 competitors that award a contract in order to define technical specifications of the proposed mhealth solution.
Luxemburg NCP for P.S.
Contract with Agence eSante Luxemburg for the provision of cross border e-health services. Under this contract we created the National Contact Point for Louxemburg, which exchange patient information with other countries according to epSOS requirements.
Decipher Phase II award
After evaluation of technical specifications of every competitor, 6 of them awarded a contract for prototyping their solution. Gnomon envisions not only the delivery of a mobile solution for the patient but also the creation of an open-source, standard-based, cross-border, healthcare mobile application development platform.
Decipher Phase III award
Gnomon is one of the final winners of the Decipher PCP project after the evaluation of the prototyping. This is the 1rst Greek company that succeed in a pre commercial procurement tool adopted by European organizations as part of their innovation policies in the EU.
Implementation of the IT system of the Exikonomisi kat’ Oikon II
Has undertaken the project «Implementation and maintenance of the IT system of the Exikonomisi kat’ Oikon II» by the Hellenic Bank Association. Gnomon SA has undertaken the implementation.
ACTIVAGE is a European Multi Centric Large Scale Pilot on Smart Living Environments. The main objective is to build the first European IoT ecosystem across 9 Deployment Sites (DS) in seven European countries, reusing and scaling up underlying open and proprietary IoT platform.
The purpose behind the DLT4All project is to address effectively the lack of European entrepreneurs’, students’, investors’ and incubator managers’ understanding of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and their applications.
SHAPES aims to create the first European open Ecosystem enabling the large-scale deployment of a broad range of digital solutions for supporting and extending healthy and independent living for older individuals who are facing permanently or temporarily reduced functionality and capabilities.
This innovation action will give a powerful impulse to implementation of ISO IDMP (ID of Medicinal Products) standards in EU Member States drug databases, supporting safe cross-border ePrescription/eDispensation and effective pharmacovigilance.
Immune-mediated diseases (IMDs) are increasing rapidly in the developed countries constituting a huge medical, economic and societal challenge. The reasons to this epidemic are not known, but exposome needs to play an important role since genetic factors cannot explain such a rapid change.
